Membership is sold as a subscription that renews automatically for successive billing periods (for example monthly or annually, depending on the plan you choose) until you cancel. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. By starting a membership you authorize these recurring charges to your chosen payment method at the then-current rate, plus any applicable taxes, until the membership is cancelled.
You can cancel at any time from your member dashboard using the Cancel Membership option in the left-hand menu. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period: your membership and all benefits remain active until that date, and no further charges are made after it. If you change your mind before the period ends, you can use the Resume Membership option to keep your membership active and stop the cancellation.
Because members receive immediate access to membership benefits — including AI marketing tools, directory listings, and nationwide exposure — membership fees are generally non-refundable, and we do not provide partial or pro-rated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period once that period has begun. When you cancel, you keep access for the remainder of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.
We want every charge to be correct. We will issue a refund where we find that you were charged in error, including: a duplicate charge; a charge made after you had already cancelled; or a clear technical billing error on our side. If you believe any charge is wrong, contact us within 30 days of the charge and we will review it promptly. Refunds approved under this section are returned to the original payment method.
If your membership includes a free trial or a promotional period, you may cancel at any time before the trial or promotional period ends to avoid being charged for the first paid period. If you do not cancel before it ends, your membership converts to a paid subscription at the standard rate and the terms of this policy apply.
If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in your membership being suspended while the dispute is investigated. We are happy to provide records of your membership activity and billing history to help resolve any question.
Email us at liaison@c2oc.org from the email address on your membership account, with the subject line “Refund Request,” and include the approximate date and amount of the charge. We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are generally processed within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes apply to billing periods that begin after the updated policy is posted. The “Last updated” date above shows when this policy most recently changed. Your continued membership after a change means you accept the updated policy.
